The Garmin Bounce 2 is a kids smartwatch for families who want a child to stay active and reach parent-approved contacts without carrying a smartphone. With a Garmin kids smartwatch subscription and LTE coverage, it supports two-way calls, texts, voice messages and location features. It also tracks steps and activities, with a colorful touchscreen, games and family features managed through the Garmin Jr. app.

Calls and messages: A child can communicate with approved contacts through the watch and Garmin Jr. app when the LTE subscription and coverage requirements are met.
Location tools: Parents can view the watch's location, receive boundary enter/exit notifications and use location check-ins with an active LTE subscription and coverage.
School mode: Set do not disturb periods to help limit distractions during the school day.
Activity, chores and rewards
Bounce 2 counts steps and has a 60-minute daily activity goal. Built-in GPS supports distance, time and pace for running, and activity profiles include walking, biking, hiking, pool swimming and more. The Garmin Jr. app also lets families use chores and coin rewards; Garmin lists chores as requiring an LTE subscription. Movement-based sleep tracking, games and watch themes add more ways for kids to use the watch.
Fit, setup and important tradeoffs
The case measures 43 × 43 × 12.4 mm, and the included silicone band fits wrists from 115 to 180 mm. Check your child's wrist measurement before ordering. A parent or guardian needs a compatible iPhone or Android phone and the Garmin Jr. app for setup and management. LTE calling, messaging and location features require a separate Garmin kids smartwatch plan and coverage; the plan is not included with the watch.
