The Eggen’s handle is made from a single piece of carefully selected curly birch, hand-sanded and polished to a smooth satin finish. The warmth and grain of the wood make each knife unique, and the ergonomic shaping offers excellent control and comfort, even during extended use.
The handle gently curves toward the blade, ending in a well-proportioned finger guard that adds both safety and grip security—whether you're working in cold, wet, or gloved conditions.

The triple-laminated stainless steel blade is both durable and razor-sharp, offering excellent edge retention and resistance to corrosion. With a subtle drop point profile and a traditional Scandi grind, the Eggen’s 101 mm (3.98 in) blade is perfect for both precision carving and heavy-duty camp tasks.
Each blade is hand-sharpened and polished in the Helle workshop, meaning it comes ready to perform straight out of the box—no prep required.
