The Bear Edge® Pattern 117 is a USA built 4-1/2” Assisted Lockback. The Hollow Ground 3” Modified Drop Point Blade is made from 440 Stainless Steel with a Black Powder Coating Finish to prevent rusting. The spring assistance along with pushing up on the Thumb Studs allow for a smooth and quick opening of the Bear Edge® Logo engraved blade. The Bear Edge® Pattern 117 features a positive lock that ensures the blade will remain firmly in place once opened and is easy to close with the press of the back lock. Jimping is present on the top of the blade and handle for a more secure grip. The Aluminum Handle features a Bear Edge® engraved Pocket/Boot Clip for Tip-Down Carry. The Bear Edge® Pattern 117 has an overall length of 7-1/2″ and weighs 4.0 ounces. The Bear Edge® Pattern 117 also features a lanyard hole for secure fastening and storage.
